A cityscape photograph I took on film in Paris in 1992 of the beautiful Arc de Triomphe, that I have desaturated to black and white with tones of beige and warm grays save for one little French car in bright yellow selective color. The historic war memorial is a breathtaking example of Roman architecture, sits on the Place Charles de Gaulle at the western end of the renowned Champs Élysées and is easily one of the most stunning monuments I have ever been inside, the sculpture is just divine. If you ever have the opportunity to see it do keep in mind that there's a tunnel to access the arch, which we didn't know, and don't attempt to cross that phenomenally treacherous traffic circle like we did and just barely survived. Not the brightest move but we were just drunk enough to attempt it. Never gonna try that again. Running across those lanes I mean, I'm sure I'll be at least somewhat snockered again. While I contemplate my questionable life choices, please visit my Architecture art collection to see more of my European architectural artwork.
