A minimalist digital watercolor painting on a cotton rag paper canvas, of cosmetics featuring a bottle of Clinique Pop Liquid lip color in Sweetie Pop and a tube of Clinique lipstick in Glazed Berry, both very vibrant pinks, on a simple white background. My still life painting includes an array of splatters, smudges and drops one would expect to see with wet watercolor.
Clinique, a subsidiary of Estée Lauder, was one of the first cosmetic companies to care about what they put, and didn't put, in their products. They are known for luxury cosmetics designed by dermatologists that are allergen free and fragrance free, perfect for people with sensitive skin (like me). And now I realize I missed my calling in life, I should have in a spokesperson for Clinique!
