Description
"Crystal Aurora Borealis"
A digital watercolor mandala made to resemble a faceted lead crystal bead coated with the famous finish Swarovski, the Austrian company known for the manufacture of the most exceptional crystal in the world, developed in the 1950s, known as Aurora Borealis. Having been a professional jewelry artist for 17+ years, I am intimately familiar with all things Swarovski and nothing is more beautiful than this finish, which flashes vibrant purples, greens and blues, very much like its namesake Northern Lights itself. I used a color palette of violet purple, aqua blue, turquoise and plum on a cold press paper texture for my representation of these beautiful stones.
