Description
"Nepenthe"
Nepenthe (n.) anything inducing a pleasurable sensation of forgetfulness, especially of sorrow or trouble.
Abstract fractal art with a twist in more ways than one. This is another one of my pieces that plays with perspective. Do you see a spiraling tube or do you see a long fun house slide? Can you switch perspective between one and the other? Those who remember and mastered pulling in Magic Eye images can probably do this easily, but even just glancing away and looking at it again can change your perspective of what you see. Pretty cool, eh? And I made you forget your troubles for a minute to boot! I used a rainbow of vibrant, earthy hues primarily in red, orange, yellow, blue and green, and a glossy surface texture, for my joy-inducing math-based artwork. Please visit my Conceptual Fractal Art gallery for more contemporary math-based artwork.
