Description
"Nine Inch Nails - Hurt Lyrical Cloud"
A word cloud in moody multi colors, comprised of the most pertinent words appearing in the lyrics of Nine Inch Nail's rock hit "Hurt." NIN released this angsty song as a promotional single from the album Downward Spiral in 1995, and Johnny Cash covered it in 2002. While the original was a big hit for Nine Inch Nails, one could argue it was even a bigger hit for Cash, due to his powerful video and the fact that he recorded it only seven months before his death. Upon seeing Cash's video, Trent Reznor was so moved he stated, "That's not my song anymore." Personally I think both versions are wonderful. Part of my Lyrical Cloud series, paying tribute to the most important and iconic vocalists and songs in modern musical history. Though my main image appears on blue, the background color of all my Lyrical Cloud products are completely customizable when you enter each item's page. The Clouds are also customizable, please contact me if you would like one for your very own created with your favorite song and/or colors! Please visit my Lyrical Clouds art gallery to see more.
