"Pink Polka Dot Citroën 2CV"
An altered selective color photograph of a white Citroën 2CV with bright pink polka dots. The original 2CVs were nicknamed the "umbrella on wheels" because they had a full-width canvas roof that rolled all the way back almost to the bumper on pre-1955 models (I believe this model was made around 1965 but I wasn't able to definitively date it, if you know please share your knowledge!). And here's a piece of trivia for you: Michelin introduced their very first radial tires on the first model of this French car in 1948. Most importantly, I want one! Please visit my Transportation art gallery to see more of my vintage automobile artwork.
