"Poppies in the Rain"
Scarlet oriental poppies with their impossibly thin stems bend under the weight of rain drops, only to spring back once they dry in the sun. A minimalist digital watercolor painting, I used a color palette of primarily brilliant red, fuchsia pink, violet purple and green on a textured canvas background with a pastel wash of color for my floral artwork.
