"Where Mermaids Play"

Crashing fractal waves swirl in a magical ocean creating effervescent bubbles in the form of colorful pointillist concentric circles, creating the ideal place for young mermaids to gather and play. I used hues of aqua blue, deep periwinkle blue, violet, turquoise, plum purple and just a touch of rose gold for my fantasy seascape. Embarrassing Artist Factoid #1: When I was little my best friend and I would play mermaids, and we would "swim" on the slick tile floor of what back then was called our "rec room." What I would have given to have a bed with a duvet cover like this to have played mermaids on!
