In a tribute to the current (and much better educated) brave souls who put their lives on the line to help so many others, a surrealist plague doctor portrait. Wearing the iconic 14th century beaked mask that has struck terror for the hundreds of years since the bubonic plague ravaged the world, he's given a modern pop art twist in the age of the coronavirus pandemic. Painted in abstract multicolors of green, blue, yellow, black, white and of course blood red, there's a lot to see in this digital art piece that isn't obvious. Look closely and let your mind wander, there's nothing to fear. Well... much. Please visit my Disturbia art gallery for more of the artwork that crawls out from my darker brain cells.
