Artist's Description
"Peony Pollen"
A close-up photograph of a pink Japanese peony flower from my garden, in full bloom in the sunshine, dusted with brilliant yellow pollen. Other then a tiny edge crop and minimal adjustment to black and white levels and exposure, this is exactly the way this image came from my DSLR, I did not increase the saturation of the color. Isn't the brilliant yellow of the pollen just phenomenal? I just love it against the contrasting vivid pink of the petals. Please see my Contemporary Botanicals to see more of my floral photography.
