"The Cliffs at Deauville II"
A photograph I took on film in 1992 from the very top of the cliffs in Deauville in the Calvados region of Normandy France, looking out across the gorgeous rock formations with their bands of coral clay and narrow strip of sandy beach below, the calm aqua blue sea and the mist rolling inland across the grassy hills. Deauville is a luxurious seaside resort and it's easy to see why, it is just phenomenally breathtaking. Known as the "Flowery Coast" (Côte Fleurie), its accessibility from Paris and attraction as "the" travel destination for the affluent has earned the coastal town the nickname of the "Parisian Riviera."
