Artist's Description
"Thunderbird"
A digital soft pastel painting of the mythological eagle known as the Thunderbird, as he spreads his wings and creates thunder and lightning. The Thunderbird is an important character in many First Nation tribes' lore, most predominantly among the Algonquin, Menominee and Ojibwe Native Americans. I used vibrant, earthy shades of red, orange, yellow, brown, green and blue for my majestic supernatural bird. Please visit my Avian Flights of Fancy art gallery to see more of my bird artwork.
