"Twilight on Wisteria"

An original close-up floral still life photograph of wisteria blooms from my Chester County, PA garden, kissed with the warm light of the setting sun, turned sensual acrylic painting on a linen canvas texture through the magic of digital postprocessing. I used a palette of violet purple, cobalt blue and deep fuchsia pink on a navy ground for my romantic piece. I think I was definitely channeling Georgia O'Keefe. She's welcome to invade my artistic sensibilities anytime.
